Actions to Achieve the Strategy
- Implement leadership and skill development programs for female staff and offer leadership opportunities matching their capacity and performance
- Broaden the scope of Gender Equality Committee to support the implementation of National Gender Equality Action Plan
- Increase awareness of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education to attract more females to pursue engineering fields
- Provide information on career opportunities in STELCO through career exposure events, school visits and open day programs
- Create awareness on sexual harassment and workplace harassment to provide a safe working environment
- Increase female representation in company committees
