Integrated Water Resource Management Systems
At STELCO, we are committed to delivering reliable and sustainable water services across the Maldives through integrated water resource management systems. Our approach ensures that water production, supply, and usage are optimized to meet the growing needs of communities while preserving our natural resources.

We are successfully operating water treatment and supply systems in several islands, including K. Guraidhoo, K. Gulhi, K. Kaashidhoo, AA. Ukulhas, AA. Thoddoo, AA. Rasdhoo, AA. Mathiveri, ADh. Hangnaameedhoo, ADh. Mandhoo, ADh. Mahibadhoo, V. Keyodhoo, V. Fulidhoo, and V. Thinadhoo. These systems are improving access to clean, safe water and enhancing quality of life for the communities we serve.

Through continuous innovation and sustainable practices, we aim to build a resilient and efficient water service infrastructure. From desalination and rainwater harvesting to wastewater treatment and smart water distribution, our systems are designed to support healthier communities and safeguard the environment—one island at a time.

Integrated Water Resource Management Systems
Water Production

Water Production

Our water production systems combine advanced desalination and rainwater integration methods to provide reliable access to potable water. Using energy-efficient technologies, we ensure every drop meets safety and quality standards while minimizing environmental impact.

Water Distribution

Water Distribution

An integrated network of pressure pipelines, and storage tanks ensures the safe and efficient delivery of water across islands. Our distribution systems are designed for resilience, minimizing losses and ensuring uninterrupted supply to communities.

Rain water Harvesting

Rainwater Harvesting

Rainwater harvesting systems collect and stores rainwater from public rooftops. The collected water is then treated using ultrafiltration (UF) technology and supplied together with RO-treated water. This process supports sustainable water production, improves efficiency, lowers treatment costs, and helps reduce the carbon footprint of the overall water operation.
