Ahmed Iqbal joined STELCO in 1991 and currently holds the position of Chief Advisor – Technical & Engineering. He has held various executive positions including the Head of the Island Powerhouses, Head of the Engineering and Mechanical Department, Head of the Greater Male’ Region Department and Head of the Regional Department. Iqbal Holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, and an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering from South Institute of Vocational Education, South Australia.
